Fabric Buildings

SSCC designs, manufactures and constructs our own brand of Fabric Buildings. These Fabric Buildings originally designed for agricultural applications are becoming popular for the storage of bulk material (fertilizer, sand and salt). The SSCC “Envirotech” Fabric Building consists of hot dipped galvanized steel arches covered with a high strength PE or PVDF fabric. Our Fabric Buildings are installed on either a cast in place concrete foundation wall or on pre-cast concrete blocks and slabs.

The “Envirotech” Fabric Building was designed specifically for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO). It has a high interior clearance that facilitates interior loading and unloading of sand and salt (thus reducing the negative ecological impact of salt storage). These Fabric Buildings are ideal for temporary and permanent locations

In the last several years, "Envirotech" Fabric Building have been constructed at:

  • Plantagenet (United Counties Prescott Russell)
  • Village of Hartington (Township of South Frontenac)
  • Morrisburg (MTO Ottawa)
  • Lindsay (MTO Ottawa)
  • Milton (Halton Waste Management)
  • Carlsbad Springs (MTO Ottawa)
  • Dacre (MOT Ottawa)
  • Kanata (MTO Ottawa)
  • Vermilion Bay (MTO Thunder Bay)
  • Nestor Falls (MTO Thunder Bay),
  • Haley Station, Ontario (MTO Ottawa)
  • Dunnville, Ontario (Haldimand County)
